Building a Demo – What’s Inside

In this devlog, we want to give you a closer look at what’s inside the demo for The Lost Frame, and why we’re excited to share it with you.

From the beginning, our goal has been to create an emotionally engaging experience wrapped in mystery, built on unique environments and psychological storytelling. This demo represents our first real step into that vision.

What to Expect in the Demo

We’re currently building a 20–30 minute playable demo designed to showcase the core gameplay mechanics, narrative tone, and surreal world design of The Lost Frame. It’s not a full vertical slice — instead, it’s a “feel slice”: a preview that captures the emotional and atmospheric essence of the full game.

In the demo, you’ll experience:

1. Third-person action-shooting mechanics

2. Exploration and environmental storytelling

3. Narrative-driven design tied to memory and identity

4. Cinematic audio atmosphere and original sound design

Our aim with this demo is to balance smooth, responsive gameplay with a strong sense of place and psychological tension — letting players dive into a fractured reality and begin to uncover what’s been forgotten.

Why We’re Releasing It

We’re not just releasing this demo to show off — we want to start a conversation.

This demo is for tone, gameplay feel, and world immersion. We’re eager to hear your feedback on:

Gameplay flow

- Environment design and level readability

- Narrative clarity and emotional impact

- Audio and sound integration

Every comment, playthrough, or bug report will help shape the next phase of the game. We’re building this not just for you, but with you.

If you're excited to explore the mind behind The Lost Frame, follow us here, join our Discord community, and spread the word. Your early support will help make this indie dream possible.
